Finding Strength in the Chaos: Staying Faithful and Fierce in Every Season
Let’s be honest—life gets messy.
Between work, family, relationships, and all the unexpected twists and turns, it’s so easy to feel like you’re barely holding it all together. I’ve been there—spinning so many plates that I didn’t even realize I was running on empty.
But here’s what I’ve learned: God doesn’t need us to be perfect. He just wants us to show up.
No matter how busy life gets, we can stay rooted in our faith and grounded in His love. Let me share how we can hold on to both our faith and our strength—even when life feels like it’s moving a mile a minute.
Invite God Into Your Everyday Moments
You don’t need hours of quiet time to feel close to God. He meets us in the middle of the chaos—in the carpool line, during a meeting, or while folding yet another load of laundry.
- Talk to Him Throughout the Day: Driving to work? Cooking dinner? Take a second to check in with God.
- Keep It Simple: One verse in the morning can change how you show up all day.
- Let Worship Be Background Noise: Play worship music in the background and let it fill the space where stress usually sneaks in.
God isn’t waiting for us to have it all together. He’s ready to meet us right where we are.
Give Yourself Some Grace
Seriously—give yourself a break.
We put so much pressure on ourselves to be everything for everyone, and somewhere in that madness, we forget to care for our own hearts.
Here is the truth: You’re allowed to rest. You’re allowed to grow slowly. You’re allowed to not have all the answers.
God never asked for perfection. He’s after your heart, not your highlight reel.
Stay Grounded in Truth
God isn’t waiting for us to have it all together. He’s ready to meet us right where we are.Life is loud, and the world will throw all kinds of lies at you—You’re not enough. You should be further along. You’re failing.
But here’s the thing: God’s truth is louder.
- When you think, “I’m not enough,” remind yourself, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14).
- Write down His promises and put them where you’ll see them.
- Reflect on how God has already shown up in your life. Let that be your proof that He’s not going anywhere.
His Word is steady. Lean on it when everything else feels shaky.
Find Your People
We were never meant to do life alone. Period.
Find people who will speak life into you, pray with you, and remind you who you are when you forget.
- Join a Women’s Group: Connect with women who get it—who understand juggling faith and life.
- Fill Your Feed with Encouragement: Follow voices that inspire and uplift you.
- Be Real About Your Struggles: Vulnerability brings connection. You don’t have to carry it all by yourself.
Community is where growth happens. Find yours and hold them close.
Start Small and Keep Showing Up
Sometimes we get stuck thinking if we can’t give God everything, then it’s not enough. But God honors even the smallest steps.
- Pray for five minutes.
- Read one verse.
- Pause for a quick prayer when anxiety creeps in.
Small steps lead to a life deeply rooted in Him.
